How to Operate A Successful Christian Business

businessman worrying

I was surfing through Ning the other day and encountered Candie A Price's Ministry minded "Christian prenuers" discussion on "what is the hardest part of operating a Christian business?" I'd like to offer my take on the subject, for anyone who is "sweating the load" while trying to operate a successful Christan Business.

5 Challenges Facing Christian Businesses

In business, having a well researched business plan comes in handy. You do have a business plan? Effective business plans identify potential problems in key areas and provide several possible solutions to these issues:

Planning
Marketing
Training
Communications
Financial Management

These areas are where you can expect to have your toughest challenges when you are operating a Christian Business. So, follow the old adage, " plan your work and work your plan" and don't trip about, what if it don't work out, what if it does!

Why Christian Entrepreneurs Are Growing In Today's Marketplace

Over seventy-five percent of the U S population are Christians and the need for Christian-owned businesses for them to spend their money with is growing. According to the an article in Shopping Center Today, more than
75 percent shop at a Christian store at least once a quarter, and 59 percent spend between $51 and $250 per year on products.

What Makes Christian Business Unique?

Christian businessmen have to be prepared, challenges will come, to paraphrase another scripture, you'll get the victory if you faint not.

The Apostle Paul endured some of his roughest times while he was starting fellowships in different communities. He suffered beatings, jailing, attempted stoning and was often conspired against.

In his letter to Timothy (Tim 3:11-13) he reminded him, Christians who wants to live a Godly life will find themselves going through trials and test, but God will deliver you from them all.

Ten Things Every Christian Should Know About Christmas

As you gather your family to celebrate Christmas make it a joyous occasion and not one that is tainted with ritual and regret. Celebrating the birth of Christ can be a special event if you remember to keep it holy.

1. Christmas, the celebrated birthday of Jesus Christ was incorporated into the Roman Catholic Church in the 5th century. Prior to that time December 25th was a day set aside for pagan worship.

2. The Roman Feast celebrating the birth of Sol, the sun god was celebrated on December 25th.

3.The pagan feast and the Christian Holiday became one when the custom of giving gifts was adopted from the legend of St. Nicholas.

4. Jesus was not born in the wintertime.

5. The decorating of fir trees is mentioned in the Bible and Christmas trees have become an idol for modern man.

6. There are more suicides in December than any other month.

7. More deaths occur in December than in other months.

8. The Lord tells us to commemorate his death, through the Lord's Supper.

9. The name Christmas comes from the Roman Catholic "Christ Mass" instituted in 5th century and celebrated on December 25th.

10. Americans pile up more consumer debt in December than any other month of the year.

How Christians Can Start And Build A Successful Business

group of people

On the road to building a business you don't have to turn down the path that ends with your great idea becoming a job that provides lots of work and very little pay. There are several important principles you can follow if you own, or plan to start a Christian business.

Please allow me the liberty as a writer to summarize how Christians can increase their chance for business success, by pointing-out that there are really only two ways to become successful.

The Two Keys to A Successful Christian Business

The first method is to take a small business guru to lunch and ask him how he became successful and do everything that he did.

The other way is to take a businessman who went bankrupt to lunch ask him what he did and make sure you don't make those same mistakes.

Honestly that's, in essence why thousands value the advice offered by Brian Tracy, Micheal Gerber and other gurus who have helped many businessmen avoid the crash and burn syndrome and other risk associated with operating a small business.

Christian Business Advice

Christian businessmen should actively pursue learning everything they can, from the soup to the nuts, about operating a business.

Gerber says. "Creating a successful business is a learnable, replicable experience that anyone can go through."
Sure, franchises offer a sense of security as a successful business model for tried and tested products, what about the bootstrapping Christian entrepreneur with an idea for a unique product?

How to Build A Better Business

"Seek and ye shall find" is a biblical principle that should be familiar to most Christian businessowners and can applied to guide you to prosper in the marketplace.

When it's interwoven into a business strategy it represent the need to consistently seek answers to business problem and not rely on trial and error as a business strategy.

It's unrealistic to think you can wear every hat as a Christian businessman (marketer, manager, salesmen, parent) and not be lacking in one of the key areas. Getting advice from other professionals will allow you to move faster toward your business goals.

So, to start a successful business or get one back on the right track,

Christians can minimize their mistakes by getting mentored, taught and trained in critical skill areas.

Continuously seek guidance from other professionals before you start and every step of the way.

Then, Christian entrepreneurs won't find themselves working long hard hours toward their American dream only to be faced with having to close-up shop, because they've run out of money, energy or both.

How Christian Business Owners Can Prosper in Tough Economic Cycles

Chick fil-a in Atlanta Mall

Smart business owners and entrepreneurs who want their companies to remain strong as America's economic infrastructure goes into a tailspin know the best option is to follow, focus and have faith in God.
The creator has always given Christians the wisdom to prosper in tough economic cycles. Remember how Joseph's divine wisdom helped Egypt avoid a world-wide famine in Gen 41:56.

Christian-oriented Management Tools

Even during the "Great Depression" a small group of businessmen, Milton Hershey, Andre Carnegie and George McMurty were able to flourish and succeed. They infused God's power into their businesses by rejecting the exploitative practices towards employees that prevailed in the marketplace and embraced charity, benevolence and other Christian ideals (Mal 3:5)as management tools.

Today's Christian entrepreneurs and business owners who stretch their ideas and minds to make a paradigm shit from the traditional methods to adopting a wholistic, (spiritual and physical) approach to business activities are still being empowered by God to succeed.

Wholistic/Biblical Business Principles

There should be more businesses where, prayer and planning go hand in hand, customer relationship management is modeled after the unconditional love of Christ and restoration of the church and the community are equally important.

Imagine the impact that could be made in your market, if you harnessed the (wholistic) physical and spiritual resources available; to find your niche, craft creative marketing strategies or any business activity?

The same Christ that died to save our souls, wants to save our communities and save Christian businesses too.

Why Christian Businesses Succeed in Any Economic Condition

Chart with arrow pointing up

Many people are not aware of the biblical principles that work behind the scenes, to help Christians succeed in any economic condition. They are not new or special techniques, but spiritual principles that Christian businessmen can access everyday of their business life.

One of the most important principles is wisdom. It's enables you to judge situations from both a natural and spiritual perspective. It's one of the many benefits of letting God's Word guide your decision making processes.

It equips you with a discernment that other people don't have, because of that discernment, you'll be enabled to do what they can't do.

Wisdom will advance you in your business or career, keep you at peace (Prv 3:17-18). and provide you with a solution to any problem. (1 Cor 10:13)

How to Access Spiritual Wisdom

To obtain wisdom is simple. In the New Testament book of James (1:5) It says that all who ask can obtain wisdom from God. It requires you to bring every thought into obedience with the will of God (2 Co 10:5)

It's maintaining wisdom, that presents the biggest challenge for Christians. We have a cunning and persistent adversary who constantly tries to sabotage our faith in spiritual wisdom (2 Co 10:3-4). He uses fear, doubt and worry to hamper you from relying on spiritual wisdom.

Another thing that keeps most people from applying wisdom are the strongholds or mental thoughts process that they had before becoming a believer.

You probably heard some of the old wives tales and old adages that sound credible, but are not based on God's principles. There is safety in numbers and a bird in the hand is better than one in the bush are just a couple of them.

However, when you are guided by wisdom you walk by faith and not by sight. You begin to react based on what you know rather than what you feel or see.

Wisdom For Business Success

David Browne CEO and President of LensCrafters, has lived every entrepreneur’s dream. After a personal encounter with God, he began to realize that applying Christian principles to business was the only way win both morally and by the worlds measure of success.

He desired to emulate Jesus and began implementing a servant leadership model whereby he would strive to empower and encourage his employees instead of merely using them to fulfill his own objectives. It turned out to be a highly successful formula for his business.

David is quoted in "Living the Entrepreneurs Dream" Seceretsofsuccess.com saying, “ how can you really be a successful, complete person in business, politics, or in sports if you don’t know Christ?”

How to Build a Successful Christian Business

cross with men working

You can take control of your economic future by applying divine principles that businessmen have been using since antiquity to become successful. Once you align your company, business, and finances with these biblical principles you can not only build a successful Christian business, but everything you put your hand to do shall prosper.

These tried and proven principles of believing, trusting and honoring God with your wealth must be followed, by anyone who desires to become a successful Christian businessman.

Three Key Principles For Christian Businessmen

Trust...recognize that God is omnipotent and delights in the prosperity of his people, by allowing him to direct your steps through his Word , his spirit and his power. Ps. 37-3-4

Honor...give your time, talent and treasure to building his kingdom. Mat 6:33

Belief...confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord.Rm 10 9-10

How Christian Can Achieve Financial Freedom

These scriptural views should be considered the Basic Instructions for Businessmen, Leaders and Entrepreneurs.

Talk radio host and author Dave Ramsey, overcame millions of dollars of debt using these principles. Now he uses his nationally syndicated talk show as a platform to provide Biblically based business principles, common sense education and empowerment to gives hope to others.

These instructions were part of the law given to Moses for the children of Israel to follow however, their usage predate the Mosaic Law and are still in full force and effect in the present century.

Since we inherited the promise that was given to Abraham, we can expect whatever principles that worked for him, to work for us. And what distinguished Abraham from other people in his day, was how he honored, trusted and believed God's Word.

How Christian Businesses Can Prosper in Tough Economic Cycles

I'm sure some of you out there have been saying baugh humbug, to these biblical principles, for business success, mainly because you think giving is a burden and you can't afford to give, a bother, or unnecessary, don't be blinded to the truth.

The Bible clearly says that if you fail to follow this teaching you are a robbing God . During tough economic cycles having your mug shot posted in heaven with the word thief across the top, is not be a desirable strategy to follow.

Let me wrap this post up with one last thought.

You wouldn't think twice about tipping a waitress more than 10 percent for excellent service, but you have a problem giving to God who manages your health, finances, your future a measly 10 percent, Ummgh?

God's kingdom is built on trust and results, so it's important to have your finances, business and future well grounded and firmly rooted in his Word, because only the things you do for God will testify of your commitment to the kingdom.

Three Key Characteristics Of Christian Entrepreneurs

picture of an early Mcdonalds

Most people aren't born leaders or creative geniuses. But there are three characteristics that I've identified that Christian entrepreneurs need to rise to the highest levels of success in business.

Many of the Christian businessmen that I have heralded on the pages of this blog share some common traits. These characteristics enabled them to transcend that fine line that separates an ordinary business owner from an entrepreneur.

Keys to Entrepreneurial Success

Vision is what you want to achieve. It's important because businessmen are often propelled forward by faith and not by what they see.

It wasn't what he saw, but what he imagined, that inspired a milkshake machine salesman, Ray Kroc to convince the McDonald Brothers to let him open a McDonald's in Illinois.

Entrepreneurs know how to translate their ideas and dreams into a vision to gain the support of others.

In Zachariah 4, an angel showed Zachariah a gold lamp stand with a bowl at the top and seven lights on it, flanked by two olive trees. These physical object bore a spiritual meaning that made them important. The angel explained to him, they represented the fullness of God's power through his Spirit.

Purpose is another key characteristic. Though often confused with vision, purpose is not what, but why you're trying to attain it.

Communication is another essential ingredient in becoming a Christian entrepreneur. You have to be able to articulate your vision in formal and informal methods to others.

When you combine these three characteristics together they give Christian businessmen the ability to stay focused, from the idea stage, on through design, testing and implementation.

They are also part of the unique, esprit de corps that lifts entrepreneurs above the fog of being an typical business owner.

How You Can Apply This Today

Stop waiting for all your ducks to get in a row before you try a new idea.

How Christian Businessmen Handle Tough Problems

shiloutte of men

God never promised us that Christian life would be a worry-free existence. Every step you take will be challenged by Satan to discourage you from fulfilling your divine purpose in this generation.

So it should come as no surprise that Christian businessmen have to handle tough problems in their businesses. The Bible gives us an example of how to keep our faith, focus and fortitude during challenging situations, in the Old Testament Book of Daniel.

Daniel In The Loins Den

Despite a decree from the Darius, king of Persia, that anyone praying to any God or man besides him, would be thrown to the loins, the Old Testament Prophet Daniel remained loyal to God and prayed three times a day.
When his sentence was carried out, God sent his angel to shut the mouth of the loins and he was lifted out of the loins den without a single wound.

His adversaries alongwith their wives and children were selected to replace Daniel in the den, but before their bodies had reached the floor of the den, they were overpowered by the waiting loins.

Let me remind you of just a few of problems that several successful Christians entrepreneurs went through on the road to building their businesses.

Failure Is Not An Option When You Have Faith

In "Why faith Is Important For Christian Businessmen" I mentioned how Peter Daniels failed in three different businesses, but it was his faith in God that encouraged him to continue on the road to his God chosen purpose.

In his book "Purpose Driven Life" Rick Warren states that the only way you can discover your identity and purpose is through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Business By The Good Book

I'm sure that "How Christians Use Faith To Build A Stronger Business" captures Dave L. Steward's lowest moment in life, when he watched his car get repossessed from his office window.

He probably questioned why he had chosen to become a business owner instead of seeking a 9-5 job, but his answer was to keep his faith in God. And Steward was able to recover from his temporary setback.

How You Can Apply Your Faith Today

Stay on the path to your purpose in your business and expect God to give you the ability to get over the hurdles on your path, but don't expect them to be removed.

5 Benefits Of Managing Your Business Using Biblical Principles

Honesty and integrity are the trademarks of Christian businessmen and both his company and his lifestyle should reflect these characteristics. There is a tire store in Virginia, that has been recognized by others in its industry for its success and its Christian businessowner models his management style from a unique resource.

Characteristics Of Christian Businessmen

Steve Craven, president of Fairfax, Va.-based Craven Tire & Auto, turns to the Bible instead of business and self-help books to find successful principles and practices to operate his business and his life.

Steve is active in several Christian organizations and serves as an elder in his church. He is a board member for Faith in the Family, an organization devoted to strengthening families and a member of the advisory council of Joe Gibbs’ Youth for Tomorrow Foundation.

Business Principles From the Bible

Mr Craven feels strongly about his commitment to God and manages his business using a religious-based philosophy because, he believes that the Bible can be used to answer any questions on morality, business or life. Craven, calls the Bible his moral standard and business handbook.

A Higher Standard of Living

This Christian business owner's high level of commitment to his customers and community has helped his tire service grow from a small gas station into a multi-location tire outlet.

Steve was recognized by his colleagues, for his contributions to his community in Fairfax, Va with the "Tire Business Humanitarian Award" in 2005.

The Bible points out in Proverbs 16 that when you are committed to the Lord he will establish your thoughts and direct your steps and that obtaining Godly wisdom provides a higher standard of living and a reward that is more precious than silver and gold.

Benefits of Managing Your Business Using Biblical Principles

Long Life
Riches
Honor
Paths of Peace
Happiness/Blessings

One brief look at Craven's success in business and it's easy to see that he has been blessed in each of the areas that are listed in Proverbs 16.

The Bible declares these benefits on the lives of every Christian who uses Godly wisdom.

If your perspective on life and business is based only on the physical things that you see, then you overlooking the spiritual aspects of life and 50% of what really matters.

How Christians Use Faith To Build Stronger Businesses

Ten Commandments being smashed

There is an ancient text that is motivating Christian businessmen to forge businesses that are not driven by how much money they may earn, but they seek to serve and to give to others.

The tenets found on the pages of "The Bible," have become a source of inspiration and guidance for many Christian entrepreneurs like Dave L. Steward , who used faith to build a stronger business.

He founded World Wide Technology Inc. (WWT), a leading electronic procurement and logistics company in the information-technology (IT) and telecommunications industry.

Doing Business By the Good Book

It requires a tremendous amount of faith to rise above your fears and self-doubt and do business outside the box. In his book Doing Business by the Good Book: Fifty-Two Lessons on Success Straight from the Bible, Steward notes that
our challenges are minuscule when compared to Noah's task in Genesis.

Dave built his business based on principles from the Scriptures and uses the Bible, both Old and New Testaments to teach a Sunday school class for other businesspeople, to help them focus on how to work together and succeed honestly and righteously in today's global marketplace.

Lessons In Faith

Success didn't happen in the blink of an eye. It took business savvy, years of hard work and all the faith a man could muster to overcome the adversities Steward experienced in his business. At one point in 1993, things were so tight, a collection company repossessed his car from the company parking lot.

Eventually he was able to silence the doubting Thomases, those who shun risk and choose a fear based lifestyle all the while trying to discourage others from living their dreams.

Steward is a successful African American businessman and a Christian whofulfills the essence of the "Great Commission," to do God's work, in his daily life and through his business by remaining obedient and seeking favor from the Lord.

Stories of Faith In The Bible

Noah

Abraham

David

Jesus served others. In Luke 6:38, Christ said: "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will it be put into your lap; for the measure you give will be the measure you get back." The Christian entrepreneurial spirit should be fueled by a charge of servitude instead of yielding to our modern culture's self-serving philosophy.

How to apply your faith today!

Choose a scripture from the Bible as your personal mantra instead of a cunning quip or quote from a book.

How Christians Use Faith In Their Business

Rodin's Thinker-Man sitting on stumpRichard Headrick thought he could live a double-life, talking the talk, but not walking the walk of Jesus. It left him feeling like he was racing against the wind.

He was shot at, cut with a knife and had his skull fractured from being pistol whipped. He was a spiritual weakling, but he continued to seek, trust and praise God and begin to use faith in his business strategy.

God has given every Christian a measure of faith and the more you hear the word of God and allow it to penetrate your heart the more your faith can mature and grow.

Building faith is not as strenuous as building muscles, but it is equally as important. It's the strongest foundation you can use for making decisions and solving problems whether it's in your finances, marriage or business.

How to Build Your Faith

The two ways believers can develop stronger faith in God are by following scriptural principles and/or a spiritual perspective. These doctrines will strengthen your faith and guide Christian businessmen to become better decision makers, doers and not just hearers of the word of God.

It doesn't matter whether you are aware of them or not scriptural principles impact everything around us. Maintaining a spiritual perspective is what sets Christian homes and businesses apart from the crowd.

How Spiritual Principles Affect Your Business.

The spiritual principles outlined in the Bible weren't put there for the mere value of the words, but to act as beacons of light, to illuminate the way for believers to keep them from straying off the path of righteousness.

Using a spiritual perspective provides Christians with a higher level of thinking, so high above the fog, that your results can achieve higher returns on your investment.

Facing the difficult circumstances that Richard faced, is not unusual for him or any Christians. Paul and other early church leaders were sometimes beaten, stoned and forced to battle wild beast.

Running A Business By Biblical Principles

In the early 1990's Richard faced a daunting situation in his outdoor advertising business. It was hit by a financial crisis causing his companies' sales to plummet from $8 million in 1988 to $500,000 by 1992.

Finally Headrick landed a huge deal with the casino industry in Mississippi. Then God spoke to him and and told him to get out of that business and he did. His moral compass pointed to the spiritual perspectives of displaying ads that weren't bringing glory to God and he decided that he could not compromise his Christian convictions and canceled the contracts.

Within a year, the amount of revenue he lost by not doing business with the casinos equaled one-half the revenue he gained from all of the unexpected new business. Headrick says, personal experience has proven to him it is possible to run a successful business based on biblical principles.

Scriptural Principals In Business

It's one thing to call yourself a Christian. It's something totally different to let Jesus be Lord of your life. Proverbs 3 reminds us to trust God, honoring him with your wealth and committing to the Lord whatever you do, then your plans will succeed.

Applying your faith today:

Pray for the success of your business goals and let your faith become the wow factor in your business.

Why Faith Is Important For Christian Businessmen

What is it that you really want?

The principles that will help you realize any dreams for yourself and/or your business begins with faith.

It's the first step on the road to creating the life that you know you deserve.
Having faith in God is important because it provides Christians with a spiritual approach to life, so you can access to the power of God in any situation.

Whether it's in your business or your personal life, faith seems to make handling tough decisions and challenging problems faster and easier.

How to Use Your Faith

How is that you ask? Think of it this way. No matter how obsessively a runner trains his body for running, it's not until he is able to get his body and mind to focus on winning that he'll begin to experience victory.

Christians have to cast aside any thoughts of fear, flight or frustration.

Then, allow faith to dominate your spiritual mind share, while your outward focus is on maintaining your physical due diligence. This is a proven strategy for getting over any hurdles in life.

Christian Businessman Succeeds By Using Faith

There's a former bricklayer who was plagued by illiteracy and low self-esteem. It was only after attending a Billy Graham crusade that he developed a deep faith in God and begin to overcome his difficulties.

After reading over 5,000 biographies of successful businessmen he envisioned himself as an entrepreneur, but failed in 3 different businesses.

However, Peter J. Daniels continued to walk by faith and today this Christian businessman is one of the world's most generous philanthropists. He owns a large corporation and has served as a Director of several international companies.

His family owns the only private-owned silver and gold bullion bank in the world and he credits his faith in God as the motivating force that shaped his life.

Faith and The Ten Commandments

The Bible declares that without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6), after all we were made for his glory. Faith strengthens your character. Once you learn to seek God's will in your daily life you'll have a disciplined approach to life, that will guide you through the best of times and the worst of times.

Peter Daniels is an example of how God prospers Christians that revere the principles found in the Ten Commandments, but without faith, he would have never benefited from the promises found in that important covenant.

How to Build Faith

Building faith is just like building muscles. It requires exercise to develop them and daily practice keeps them in optimum shape so that they'll be able to perform whenever you need them.

Later this week I'll clue you in on some faith building exercises for Christians.

How Christians Use Spiritual Laws To Create Business Sucess

corn

Multiplication was injected into our spiritual genes when God told Adam to go forth and multiply.

By using real estate and automobiles Tom Anderson flipped houses and cars to multiply his income and build a nest egg for his family. Now he teaches others how they can replicate this process to gain financial success.

He's written a book, "How to Become A Millionaire God's Way" sharing spiritual laws that encourage starting businesses, to allow everyone to learn how they too, can become successful Christian businessmen.

Dr. Thomas Anderson and his wife Maureen, founded The Living Word Bible Church in Mesa, AZ. Their ministry focuses on building stronger families and being a training center for the church body.

Dr. Anderson, a Christian businessman and pastor leads seminars at his church and around the world instructing how to build businesses based on spiritual laws from the Bible.

Making Millionaires

couple in front of house
Since Dr. Anderson began sharing this millionaire message he has helped over one hundred people in his church who started with literally nothing to become millionaires.

They were coached by their pastor to buy products that they could resell for a profit. New products, used products or whatever they could find to resell until their resources were multiplied into the millions.

Dr. Thomas Anderson says his earnest desire is not to get money from you, but to you. He wants every Christian to understand the Bible can be their roadmap from poverty to prosperity.

Spiritual Principles From the Bible

Proverbs 8:21

Matthew 19:29

Galatians 3:29

Malachi 3:10

These are not secret formulas, but promises from God for guidance in personal and business success for Christians to meditate on.

Successful Christians

The Bible recounts many stories of people who've combined their commitment to God and faith to have a better life.

Read about Job, unlike many of the people in the Bible he was not a ruler, a prophet or a disciple, he was a businessman. He suddenly became vexed with poor health, financial problems and the personal loss of all of his children.

Despite these life-challenging experiences he maintained his integrity and commitment to God. The latter part of his life was blessed to have more children and regained twice as many assets than he lost.

God has always raised up successful Christians like Philemon, Dale Carnegie and Dr. Anderson, who were blessed with the ability to teach others their knowledge of the Bible and how to succeed in business, so more followers can contribute financially to the growth of the Church and the spreading of the Gospel to the world.

The Key Ingredient to Becoming a Successful Christian Businessman

line shack in mountains

Spending the formative years of life in a shack without running water or electricity is not the usual beginnings for a millionaire.

It was for one such man who, later in life, learned how to use biblical principles as key ingredients to become a successful Christian Businessman.

For centuries Godly men and women have displayed a special kind of spirited leadership that has propelled their companies and careers to the highest levels of achievement.

Biblical Keys For Business Success

If you take a look at all their stories it's easy to identify commitment as the key ingredient that is essential for Christian Businessmen to succeed in life and business.

It's not surprising to find that all of them had a genuine commitment to working hard and providing the highest quality product or service in their market.

However, their uniqueness stems from a strong belief in the principles from the Bible and how they placed their commitment to God above all else.

The Bible and Business

cover of How to become a millionaire God's Way

C. Thomas Anderson or his book "How To Become A Millionaire God's Way isn't a new phenomenon.

The Bible is filled with stories of Christian men like Joseph, Daniel and others who stayed the course and used Godly wisdom to succeed, despite any challenges or threats on their life or liberty.

Christ implored us in many of his sermons to not forsake our commitment to God and revealed in Matthew 6:33 seeking the Kingdom of God should be our first priority.

Anderson's book doesn't reveal a secret formula or a magic spell that will help you achieve real success. It advises readers to combine their faith and a commitment to God and the biblical principles of multiplying your seed to become successful in business.

Later in the week I'll tell you just how many people he claims to have helped and exactly how many of them have reached their millionaire status.

Resources for Christian Businessmen

b&w manandboy

I was recently doing some research for a sales project and realized that Christian businessmen seem to lack a good in-depth resource center. I'm interested in finding out what, if any, places on the web offer, what Christians in business feel is an adequate amount of faith-based material that can help you with sales..marketing... other duties that are essential to a successful business.

If you have any suggestions then post them here to share with me and all of the other loyal readers. Here is one from an old post on key principles for Christian businessmen.

By the way you may have noticed that the frequency of postings has been interrupted. I and millions of other residents experienced a loss of electrical power from Hurricane Ike's powerful TKO he dealt to Houston and other parts of the Texas gulf coast.
Many residents are still not back to normal some of us are in between. But rest assure that Brother to Brother will be returning stronger and better than ever.

Faith-filled Prayers for Christian Men

man in 1st temple costume
Not only had illness taken over his body, but a prophet told him, God said, he should prepare to die. What was the first things this king did? Historians recorded, that moments after hearing this dire prediction, this powerful ruler, of one of the greatest nations of his time, sought God through a faith-filled prayer.

How do you respond when you hear discouraging news? Christian men who are confronted with the life threatening illnesses, don't have to let it shake their belief that God can and will hear, heal and help him.

Praying with a Sincere Heart

This monarch's prayer was not one that lasted for hours or one that was full of eloquent speech or a diatribe against his enemies. It was prayed with a sincere heart.

Christian men's faith can be weakened or strengthened by the words that we say because they reflect what we believe in our hearts.

In his letter to the Romans Paul explained that the mouth and the heart or key components of salvation and our guideline for using our faith to overcome our day to day struggles.

Christians have been given a divine authority from Jesus (John 14:12-14). When we pray in his name we are sure to get what we ask of him.

Prayers of Faith

In Why Faith is Important and other post I've talked about Morris Goodman, the miracle man and other Christan men who faced unsurmountable odds and how God granted their faith-filled prayers.

The Lord has restored health, family and finance for me and many other Christians in this and other generations. In Proverbs it says, the prayer of the upright pleases the Lord.

If you haven't read the powerful, simple prayer of faith made by King Hezekiah
(2Kings 20:3) here's what is says.

“Remember now, O LORD, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what was good in Your sight.”

This age old story bears witness to the fact that it's not merely the content of the prayer but the condition of the heart that enables the hand of God to move on our behalf.

Faith-How to Access the Power of God

ben Priest, Tribe of Judah

Ben's grandmother pulled out a tattered calendar marking the days and nights that God had awakened her to pray for him. The dates told their own story. How he'd survived a fire. How he'd miraculously lifted a Lincoln Continental off his stomach and walked away. Each miraculous escape from death was preceded by a prayer of faith.

Today Ben Priest, from the Tribe of Judah, a Christian motorcycle club knows how to access the power of God for himself. Before accepting Christ into his life he seldom prayed and never dreamed that his life would become a living testimony of faith.

Power to Witness

Christ told his disciples that God was about to unleash his power upon men (Acts 1:8). This power is available to all who call upon the name of Jesus. He also wants us to use this power to share his word, the truth, with the others.

The world needs Christian men to become missionaries, preachers and teachers of God's word. We are told in Th Bible to not worry about what we will say because God will send the holy spirit to guide us as we talk to others about our faith in Christ.

Power to Overcome

Christians have been given access to the power of God to enable us to overcome the evil one.

The Bible warns us to guard our spiritual condition. When Paul explained it to the Ephesians (6:12) he told them to protect themselves with the armour of God. Faith, salvation, truth and righteousness are among the weapons Christian men need to battle spiritual wickedness.

The power comes through spending time in prayer and meditating on God's word.

Words of Faith

word of God

Using the word of God to create the life that God says you can have requires a simple change, a renewing of your mind. A Christian's mindset is a key element in getting the right words to have an impact on their situation. Your mind has to be focused on what God says about you and not on what family you were born into, your profession or your income status.

It's the words that Christian men use that will build their faith and strengthen them in any situation. The words that you say should reflect your faith and what you believe. So once Christians begin placing God's words from The Bible, in their heart to replace those old words of defeat, they can expect to see positive changes and even
miracles.
God's word says:

You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

You are more than a conqueror.

You can call those things that be not as though they are.

God will grant you the desires of your heart.

With God nothing is impossible.

Christian men are transforming themselves from losers into winners by following the example in Roman 12 that when you renew your mind you can accomplish the acceptable will of God.

Faith: How to Focus on Winning Instead of Losing

Words are the tools that empower faith. Situations are created by the words that you say. The Holy Bible states the power of life and death are in the tongue (Pr 18:21). So how do you go from using your own words to defeat yourself, to building a winning vocabulary?

Christian men can learn how to become winners by following the example of the young pastor in Texas, who began confessing that his membership was in the thousands. Soon his memebrship of more than 200 shrank to less than thirty memebers.

He believed that God was on his side and continued to confess that his minsitry was growing and successful.

Let's start with what you believe. Your heart is where the first change must take place. Christian men have to believe that the word of God does work and it will work for them.

You are what you believe. You have to stop thinking of yourself as a person who is constantly defeated.

Have Faith In God

IV Hillard

Having self confidence is okay, but faith in God is what will make the difference in the lives of Christian men. When their performance is backed up by God's power they'll get unbelievable results or what others call miracles.

It didn't happen overnight, but Rev. I V Hillard, the minister in our story did begin to see the membership of New Light Christian Church swell into the thousands because of his patientce, persistance and the principles of faith that he used to build his ministry.

Christian men can transform themselves from losers into winners by following Paul's advice (Roman 12) that says to renew your mind so you can prove what is the acceptable will of God.

Faith: God's Big Idea

stary sky

God pointed to the infinite number of stars in the night sky as an example of how numerous the descendants of Abraham would become someday. At the time, Abraham wasn't even a father. God's big idea was for him to have faith in his word.

Staring at passing cars doesn't offer bus riders reassurance that the bus will soon arrive, but it serves as a visual cue of what they are hoping for. This is exactly what God wants Christian men to do to strengthen their faith.

Learning how to handle waiting is a crucial step to maintain the trust in God you'll need to not waiver while your blessing is on the way.

5 Key Scriptures To Build Your Faith

Hebrews 11:1

I Corinthians 16:13

2 Corinthians 5:7

Mark 11:22

2 Peter 3:9

As its creator God has the ultimate power over everything on earth, above earth and in earth which means he has power over all things. He has given man access to this power through belief in him.

Faith was God's big idea for us to access this power. He left his word, The Bible, as a testament on how Christians can use this awesome power so we can make his kingdom come on earth, as it is in heaven.

Faith carries with it a lot of responsibility that Christians should know about, if you want more insight including how to grow your faith read some of the other post from this months series on faith.

Why Faith Is Important

table with food

The media constantly bombards us with negative images and discouraging news that builds insecurity in us, to trust God. However Christians know to place their faith in God who has always sustained his people, even in tough economic times. God's designed his system around the principles laid out in the Ten Commandments and The Holy Bible.

The opinion of people, the press or philosophers don't take precedence of the word of God. The Old Testament records how the nation of Israel wandered in the wilderness for forty years and God fed them and led them to water each and every day.

Have Faith In God
God's faithfulness can't be denied. If you order your life by his principles, his promises and his purpose, it will go well with thee and with thy children and prolong your days upon the earth. To some these may seem like idle words, but Christian's know that God will do all that he says and exceedingly abundantly more than you can imagine.

Just ask Morris Goodman, the man doctors have dubbed the miracle man. While attempting to land his airplane one afternoon Morris crashed. He suffered a broken neck, crushed spinal cord and every major muscle in his body was destroyed. He was no longer able to perform any bodily function except to blink his eyes. His injuries were too severe for him to survive. But Morris did survive and because of a strong faith in God, courage and determination.

Trusting God
When you trust God to cover you and protect you it shows that you have surrendered your will to him. This requires that you take on a new way of thinking. Instead of making decision based on feelings each choice becomes a character decision.

Christian men have to learn how to not compromise their Godly character by making choices based on principles rather than convenience. It's your character that's really being compromised when you make decisions that are not in line with the word of God. It shows that you lack trust and have little faith in God.

How To Grow Your Faith

people hearing the word

The Bible clearly states in Romans (10:13)that faith comes by hearing the word of God. Christian men that want to grow their faith will guard the ideas and information that they allow into their spirit. Sure you can get pumped up and mentally charged from listening to motivational speakers and a variety of products aimed at helping your emotional growth but only the word of God can build your faith.

In his letter to the Philippians, Paul reminds us that the thoughts we allow our minds to focus on are important too. We have to bring every thought into captivity.
Christians should think about things that are lovely, true and of good report.
This also applies to the kind of music, movies and the other messages that you listen to.

Don't get caught up in the vicious cycle of following deceptive practices and philosophies that are based on human tradition and principles rather than the word of God. Saturate your mind with the word instead.

3 Faith Building Keys

There are three ways that Christian men can build their faith and be encouraged by the Lord. First and foremost there is preaching, then there's prayer and of course praise. It's during these faith building activities that the inspired word of God can flow into the heart of Christians.

Growing your faith is important for you to be able to access the many benefits of our relationship with God. Love and power are two of the most important benefits made available under the covenant between God and man. One of the reasons that faith is vital to our Christian experience is that without faith it is impossible to please God.

The Ten Commandments A Continuing Commitment Between God and Man

members of 2008 NFL Hall of Fame

Through tear-filled eyes and sobering voices, the former players told about their commitment to their former teams and their families. The true character of the 5 men, recently inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame, shinned through, when most of them acknowledged that Almighty God had been a motivating force throughout their careers.

There are some lessons that once a Christian learns them, can change the rest of their life into the best of their life.

How Faith In God Can Change Your Life

Darrell Green stated Jesus saved my soul and changed my outlook on life. Because of him I learned I could be a man and walk right, have integrity, be honest, faithful and true.

Five-time Pro Bowler Emmitt Thomas mentioned that because of his rough upbringing, had it not been for the Lord and his ability to persevere he may not have made to the football hall of fame.

Fred Dean played in two Super Bowls with the San Francisco 49ers. He recounted in his hall of fame speech the importance of his relationship with God.

Why You Should Build Your Life On A Solid Foundation

This common thread that each inductee revealed described numerous benefits resulting from their commitment to God.

I think Art Monk’s son, James Monk Jr. said it best, he described how Art exemplifies the commandment to love thy neighbor by serving his community through Grace Covenant Church and the Good Samaritan foundation in inner city D.C.

He added, his dad success as a NFL player was because he built his career on a strong foundation, the strongest rock of all, Jesus Christ.

The Ten Commandments establishes both rules and blessings for Christians. The benefits that these Christian men are experiencing as members of the Hall of Fame can be traced to how they have honored God over the years and how God has rewarded them for their obedience.

The Ten Commandments God’s “Top Ten” Rules

moses holding the ten commandments

It seems with all the lawsuits flying back and forth about the posting of God’s “Top Ten” in government buildings and schools, there is a rock solid connection between Americans and the Ten Commandments.

After all they’re taken from The Bible, the most influential book ever written, and best-selling book of all time.

How Many Americans Can Name The Ten Commandments

When the average Joe was put to the test about his or her knowledge of the Commandments and their source, The Bible, surprisingly most people knew little about them.

According to an article from Pew Research, 60% of Americans couldn't name five of the Ten Commandments, and 80% say they believe in “absolute standards of right and wrong.”

Sadly, only a third placed religious teachings at the top of thier list as the source for setting their standards.

When it comes to the reward stages of the Commandments, 74% of people believe that those who have led good lives will enter into a heaven to be eternally rewarded.

Fewer people, 59%, believe those who have led bad lives and die without repenting will suffer the consequences of an eternal hell.

Just read "What are The Ten Commandments And Why They Should Matter To You", to find out what's in store for those who fail to repent.

Those statistics fully explain why 68% said, there is more than one way to interpret the teachings of their religion.

What Americans Believe About The Bible

Maybe they are viewing Jesus' New Covenant as an escape clause, that makes nill the need to follow The Ten Commandments at all. That’s not a good idea, if you ask me.

When you start asking questions about the Bible, you really get a true mental picture of how important it is for Christians to treat the Bible as a living document to be poured over rather than blindly accepted.

Test Your Religious Knowledge

The Pew Research article also pointed-out these facts:

50% of high school seniors think Sodom and Gomorrah were married

49% of mainline Protestants say they seldom or never read their religion’s holy texts.

70% or more of self-professing Christians have no idea what the Holy Bible teaches to be true and 10% think that Joan of Arc was Noah's wife.

How many of The Ten Commandments can you name? If you would like to test your religious literacy here is a link to the religious literacy quiz.

A List Of The Ten Commandments

stone tablets

(Here is a list of the Ten Commandments)

The Bible describes a day of judgment that will be like a red-hot furnace with flames that burn up proud and sinful people, as though they were straw and reminds us to never forget the laws and teachings given to Moses on Mount Sinai (Malachi 4:4).

Those Ten Commandments are part of God's covenant with believers. In Moses' era covenants were a serious matter that involved the shedding of blood and symbolized a life-time commitment.

Despite the promise of their personal success and that of their descendants, people living then and now consistently violate God's laws. Few Christians, if any, can claim that they have fulfilled the requirements for honoring their parents, keeping the sabbath, or not using God's name in vain.

Those who have excepted Jesus will receive forgiveness and those who don't will experience God's wrath which is covered in "What are the Ten Commandments and Why They Should Matter To You."

God's Laws for 21'st Century Christians

The necessity of maintaining these laws for Christians today is just as important as it was over 2000 years ago when they were written by the hand of God.
Man has never been able to live in this physical realm without laws, rules and regulations. Adam was told what he could and couldn't eat in the Garden of Eden. He too failed to follow God's command.

Every Christian has a list of rules and laws they follow. Most of us never violate the book full of rules that the IRS uses to govern our taxes, because failure to adhere to any one of them can land you in prison. No one knowingly breaks any of the rules set by their employer, because they want to keep their jobs.

However when it comes to The 10 Commandments, Christians seem to run roughshod over them, breaking some of them on the list, several times a day, without thinking about the real harm they are bringing on themselves. It's not because they aren't posted everywhere we go, to help us remember them either.

Live, Teach and Know The 10 Commandments

The Bible states we shouldn't become fixated with the physical imagery of God and that should include his Commandments. After all none of them are the original stone tablets so it's useless to get all huffy about copies, when it seems that most people would rather forget about them than be reminded of the spiritual consequences of their actions.

Finally what really matters is that The Ten Commandments are written on our hearts and visible through a Christian's character, rather than merely crafted into a work of art and displayed on walls.

What Are The Ten Commandments And Why They Should Matter To You?

stone tablets

Men gnawed their tongues in agony and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had done.
That scripture is taken from the New Testament Book of Revelations it describes just some of the punishment that awaits those who have failed to keep God's Law and turn from their sinful ways.

However, if you’re a good person and have never violated any of The Ten Commandments, right, then you shouldn’t have anything to worry about.

How Being A Good Person Can Cost You Your Life

The truth of the matter is, everyone falls short and the Ten Commandments are a mirror to expose the wickedness of our sins and why we need salvation.

No matter how good of a Christian you may think you are or how good you try to be, when you compare yourself to God’s standard, you’ll realize that you should be grateful for his mercy and grace that allows you to be forgiven for your trespasses.

More Of The Ten Commandments

Let’s take a brief look and see what Commandments most Christians seem to have the biggest problem obeying. "Thou shalt not steal," "Thou shalt not covet," and how about this one, "Thou shalt love thy fellow man as much as thou lovest thyself."

Maybe you truly avoid doing any wrong to your fellow man and you haven’t had a problem following any of these Commandments yet, then wait until we get to the remainder of them and you’ll see how good you really have been.

God’s designed the system and principles by which every Christians should live that are based on faith, trust and obedience to his word. The Bible states (Galations 3:24) the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ.

Why God's Law Should Matter To You

Jesus revealed to us, that no on can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again (John 3) and whoever rejects the Son will not enjoy eternal life, for God’s wrath remains on him.

Does it matter, whether the wrath of God is upon you? Don't settle for just being a good person when you can become a new creation?

What Are The Ten Commandments and Why All The Fuss?

Picture of Supreme Court Building

You cannot post "Thou Shalt Not Steal," "Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery," and "Thou Shall Not Lie" in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians...It creates a hostile work environment.
(quote from the web)

Overview Of The Commandments

I want to continue with the overview of the Ten Commandments to help those new Christians who don’t understand the history and importance these divine laws hold for all mankind.

In the preface to the Ten Commandments or Decalogue, (Deut 6: 24-25) it states “the LORD commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is this day. Then it will be righteousness for us”.

There are only four or five Commandments that are purely theological in content. They have a major influence on the manner of worship and other principles of the Jewish and Christian religions. The Decalogue predates just about all the religions of the world.

Should We Follow The Ten Commandments

The remaining Commandments address moral and ethical rules of behavior.
Although they have traditionally been regarded as the foundational laws for Christians, various text, traditions and tenets of other religions incorporate the Ten Commandments. Although it does not contain the actual text, Islam’s holy book, the Qur'an makes a reference to them that urges they be followed.

No one has openly claimed that abiding by these rules for Christian living is outdated or pretentious, but an attack on their display in public places has been underway for over a decade.

The Clash Over Separation of Church and State

Until the beginning of the Revolutionary War, nine of the thirteen colonies forced colonist to support a particular religion. Thomas Jefferson authored these words as part of the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom, “the Holy Author of our religion, who, being Lord both of body and mind, yet chose not to propagate it by force”

The clash between proponents of separation of church and state and Christians today, is nothing like the institutionalized religion that once used an iron hand to dominate society.

The Lord never intended the laws that he gave to Moses to be rules for the godly. These clearly are written to warn the ungodly to change their ways. When you take a look at the things that they address, it's easy to determine that the 10 Commandments are to help sinners see that they are not pleasing God.

All of the laws that have ever been written stem from two important commandments. The main focus of these two important laws remind us, to value the intrinsic need for a personal relationship with God and each other.

The Most Important Commandment

The most important relationship that anyone can ever have is their relationship with God. By including the requirement to love the Lord, as a law, it shows how essential worship and love are to the well-being of humans.

In the Gospel of Matthew, a Pharisee, who was an expert on the law of Moses, asked Jesus which of the commandments was the most important, his reply was, to love the Lord thy God.

Love Thy Neighbor

Jesus told us the second most important commandment is likened to the first one. The command to "love thy neighbor as thy self". This stresses the need for each of us to give and receive an unconditional love. It doesn't elevate any particular group of people, the rulers or the rich over others, but shows that we are all due the same quantity and quality of love. This means Christians should treat everyone with the same level of respect.

These laws were surely written by a just and merciful God and not designed by man.

I wanted to add a little humor to your day with this gut busting redneck version of the 10 Commandments I spotted over at Godtube.com.

It's always fun when you can laugh at yourself like these guys are doing in this Christian comedy video from SundayNightTV's.

3 Key Things Christian Businessmen Need to Know About Doing Business Online.

Tony Dungy holding Superbowl trophy

If you’re a Christian businessman who would like to know the proper way to establish a web presence for their business. Let me shed some light on a few of the things that must be addressed for your website to be successful.

According to Pew Research “Almost 93% of internet users say they have done something related to E-commerce”. That means people are shopping and searching online for information to make a purchase everyday.

To achieve a web presence and capitalize on new streams of income by doing business online, Christian businessmen have to remember,
the principles of selling never change.
Here are three key things you should know.

Know your target audience.

Just like with any business do your research to define your ideal customer. This will help you narrow down the best prospects and where on the web they are spending the most time.

Know how to develop an identity for your online brand.

Creating a user friendly experience is essential if you expect to keep your customers coming back.

Know how to use technology to enhance the functionality of your site.

Flash and bling should be used to ease your customers shopping experience and not just to show off your product.

Each of these dimensions should accent each other in your web presence and aid in building strong relationships with your customers and visitors.

In a recent interview best selling author and Super bowl winning head coach of the Indianapolis Colts, Tony Dungy, stated that you can be successful at anything, if you make God a part of it.

Couple that first hand encouragement from Tony with Matthew 7:7-9, that says “ask and it shall be given unto you,” and the knowledge that the online market has grown to over $34. billion in the third quarter of 2007.

Then ask yourself. Why shouldn’t more Christian businessmen be considering taking their products online?

How Christian Men Can Tell A Good Idea From A Business Opportunity

Christian Businessman

Just about all of us have had those moments when the light bulb goes off inside our head, so how can you know whether yours is a money making venture and not just a good idea?

Whatever great idea or business opportunity Christian men get from God, selling your product to Christians should be part of your marketing strategy. A study conducted by a major Christian retail channel shows the retail value of Christian products sold by its members through all distribution channels reached $4.63 billion in 2006.

These are not just Bibles and books. Their members offer a wide range of products and services from apparel, curriculum, gifts, greeting cards, music software and videos.

There are 5 questions that Christian men can ask upfront to uncover some key points before you sink your hard earned cash into any business.

1. What is your unique selling proposition?

Yes, you do have to sell your product Virginia Wolf and knowing what makes your product better than it’s competitors is crucial to its success.

2. What makes your product appealing?

A good product should have some kind of sensory or emotional appeal to consumers, in other words, it should make them look or fell better.

3. How will your products show value?

Value isn’t only about pricing. What about quality and there is the emotional aspect that's important too.

4. Is your product idea interesting and exciting?

Your product will be competing against lots of other established and new brands and being a dull "me too" won’t motivate sales.

5. Product features.

A good product has to deliver in more ways than one. It should be able to last longer or offer more uses than your competitors.

These are just a few of the many considerations every product should go through before it can take it's place on the shelves of any store. The Bible reminds Christian businessmen in Proverbs 21:5 to have well developed plans, so do lots of research before spending too much money on any business.
If you want more information on deciding if your product is a great idea or a business opportunity, I recommend Christian men take a few minutes to read, "Is Your Great Idea a Real Business". Melanie Lindner hits on a few more things you may want to consider about going from an idea to a viable business.

If you already have a product you would like to introduce to the Christian market, check out the website for the CBA it's one of the leading Christian retail channels. Christian businessmen should make every effort to attend one of the many trade shows and conferences they host for retailers of Christian products.

How Christians Can Profit from Ideas for A Successful Business

compact fluorescent lightbulb

All of us have had several great inspirations for products or services that we failed to act upon only to witness someone else using our idea to become wealthy.

The average person gets 3 to 4 money making ideas a year that can probably make them financially independent, but most people fail to follow up on them. So what is it that keeps Christian men from profiting from their ideas for creating their own business.
The Drive to Succeed

There is a story that illustrates this point, about a young man who graduated at the top of his class in high school and received a scholarship to Howard University and at his 10 year class reunion was recognized as one of the most successful people in his city. He told everyone how his father had been an abusive alcoholic and he worked hard so he wouldn’t end up like his dad.

His younger brother on the other hand, managed to throw away every dime he earned and lost job after job because of his problems with drugs and alcohol. He would tell all of his friends, if his father hadn’t been an abusive alcoholic he wouldn’t have ended up living on skid row.

Same family, different outcomes, why? Whether you profit from your ideas for a successful business depends heavily on how you view situations.

Setting Goals

The difference between the dreamer and the doer is not very much. One has clearly defined goals while dreamers lack specific goals. So what is it that stands between Christian men and materializing their ideas.

The root of the problem is procrastination and doubt. They work together to get you to stop in your tracks or fail to act at all. According to one of the country’s foremost experts on successful businessmen, Dr. Dennis Kimbro, these two culprits may be hindering Christians from profiting from their many ideas for success by fostering three feelings inside their mind.

How to Avoid Self-defeat

Low self image
The result of a false belief that we’re not good enough to succeed.

You don’t believe in yourself
This will cause you to become afraid to make mistakes or interact with others

Lack of faith
A lack of faith in yourself or a lack of faith in God can be harmful to you.

Each of these can rob you of the drive, desire and discipline to reach your goals.

Pursuing Your Business Ideas

You can attack these 3 enemies of success by surrounding yourself with your goals and ideas in both words and images.

Place your goals where you can see them when you shave. Put them where you can read them when you get up every morning, throughout the day and every night before you go to sleep.

Learn to recognize the signs of a doubt and procrastination. As a Christian man, you should never settle for giving less than your best effort on every task you undertake. Then nothing will be able to keep you from attaining the benefits that you deserve from harnessing your ideas for a successful business.
